Join us!

The Elting Memorial Library is located in the Village of New Paltz. We are a non-profit organization serving the Town of New Paltz under the NYS Education Department. The Elting Memorial Library Board of Trustees is always looking for New Paltz residents to become involved in the Library! Individuals of all ages are encouraged to apply for consideration as a new trustee, committee member, or volunteer.

Trustees attend regular meetings, including a monthly meeting held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7 PM and as well as committee meetings. The monthly meetings of the Board of Trustees are open to the public. Prior library knowledge is not required to be involved in the Library. Experience in law, finance, grant writing, construction, fundraising or other non-profit organizations is very helpful.
