Located a convenient 10-minute walk from the New Paltz Middle School, teens are welcome to our teen section to do homework, hang out, read, play games, and more.

Battle of the Books returns!
Mid-Hudson Battle of the Books encourages a community of engaged middle- and high-school-aged readers in our five-county region by introducing them to great books, authors, and their fellow readers in an atmosphere of friendly competition and good sportsmanship.
Our library has two teams: Middle School, for 6th-8th graders (or those who will be in the fall) and High School, 9th-12th graders (or those who will be in the fall). Interested in learning more? Come to one of our upcoming information sessions! Click the buttons to learn more.
Join our Teen Advisory Group
The Teen Advisory Group meets monthly to plan and organize upcoming events. Open to teens and students in 6th- 12th grade.
We offer a wide range of programs and activities and are always open to new ideas. Just fill out the form below and we will contact you.
